Hospitals, Hygiene and Healthcare: A History of Medicine at the Carlisle Indian Industrial School, 1879-1918
July 30, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

CIIS researcher, Frank Vitale IV, will discuss the general history of healthcare at Carlisle, from its hospital buildings and various medical technologies to its staff and patients, to highlight how these elements shaped both local history and Native American education.
