George Washington: Music for the First President

Free Public Concert at Rubendall Hall at Dickinson College.
Presented by Dickinson College and CCHS.
David and Ginger specialize in researching, recording, and performing early American music. Since 1980, they have presented concerts and education programs throughout the country for museums, historical societies, public schools, and universities. Mount Vernon, the Smithsonian Institution, the National Archives, Colonial Williamsburg, and the Styriarte Festival are among their past sponsors.
CCHS is pleased to partner with Dickinson College’s Department of History to sponsor a free public concert as part of our countdown to the 225th anniversary of the Whiskey Rebellion.
Also make sure to check out the pre-concert lecture/workshop on early American music and instruments. Taking place on Friday, Nov. 2 at 7pm on the campus of Dickinson College at the Rubendall Recital Hall in the Weiss Center.
